We are proud to offer our Kids Competition Team for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Helping our students achieve their Martial Arts Goals and take their training to the next level.
Our Kids Competition Team in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu began in 2022 and grew very quickly to incorporate more then 15 children.
This additional resource was implemented to provide support to students and their families who wanted to be involved in Jiu Jitsu Competitions and take their goals to the next level.
With specially designed classes that focus on drills, advanced techniques and sparring, we saw a very quick accelleration of the learning of students involved in this team. The results speak for themselves, with many of our students ranking very highly for the year and bringing home 209 Individual Podium Medals and 3 Team Podium Places.
Medals are a happy bonus of competition but not the goal. This team pushes the participants to think more deeply, focus on more technical aspects of BJJ and to really embody the non-quitting attitude that we aim to instill in our student
We also saw a huge improvement in confidence, technique and bonding within the team. We are so proud of all the students and are excited to continue to offer this program in 2023.
The team is a commitment to helping each other grow and succeed with the support of their peers.
It is available to kids who have reached an advanced level within their age group and is a mixed ages group, taking students from any of the age groups in our program.
